Ah, the debut song is just around the corner from being released!
At this point in time, I am still working out a release date.
I'm actually going to be releasing the music video on the same day as somebody else who makes DOPE art projects on youtube. I will namedrop later, promise.
He helped make a completely critical prop for the music video and will be showing his process of how he did it!
I wrote Spider's Eyes about 2 years ago now at this point.
Everything always takes so long to get going when you're solo.
The timeline is 2 years ago I wrote it/Produced and sang final vocals 1 year ago/Had it mixed/mastered this year in the Spring/Filmed the music video over spring and early summer...
Which brings us to now. I'm waiting on a few friends to critique what I think might be the final draft of the music video!
It is so exciting! I'm very happy with how things are turning out and am itching to release it!

I thought it might be fun to talk about what the song/music video is about.

Spider's eyes is about how once you're out of a bad situation,
[and things are seemingly good now] it can be really hard to stop yourself from being paranoid.
Is my judgement correct that things are ok now?
When will I stop being a sleuth looking for something bad that isn't there anymore?
Do I trust myself?
Do I trust these new people in my life?
Will this good feeling be ripped away?
Am I being fooled?
It can be a hard thing to go through, and it's unfortunately a natural part of healing.
The count down begins friends.
I can't wait to show you what all this effort has been going towards!
